We picked up Jaeger this weekend. It was quite a journey, involving an almost two hour flight to Alabama and a two hour drive (four hours round trip) to the breeder's home. Plus, after waking up so early - around 4 in the morning - we forgot the carrier bag for Jaeger and all the puppy supplies we had carefully packed! So we had to make a detour to pick up those items, too.
Once we arrived, we met Jaeger (whom the breeder had named Becket). He's already almost ten pounds (which is basically Izzy's size). We also met Jaeger's mom, Tiger (who was super sweet, playful, and a fan of belly rubs), his handsome brother Magnus, as well as his brother Honda and sister Clove. I may be slightly biased, but I think Jaeger was the cutest, although the others were quite good looking, too.
Jaeger was a sweetie and trooper throughout our journey home. He didn't cry or cause any problems. He's still a little nervous about his new home, but he seems very laid back, intelligent, and sweet. Can't wait to get to know him better.
