Well the pee, poo, and vomit story continued on Saturday and Monday, well actually only the second and third items in that list. I won't bore you (or gross you out) with the details, but apparently St. Louis tap water does not agree with Jaeger. His breeder had warned us about water when travelling but we had never had a problem before and didn't hesitate to give the dogs tap water while in St. Louis. As a result, my husband was up in the wee hours bathing and washing out a very icky crate several times between Saturday and Sunday. I took over in the early morning hours. So gross!
We thought we were okay, but then apparently some special raw hide treats we gave them Monday evening didn't agree with either of them. Jaeger was the most affected - again giving my husband several nighttime messes to clean and me several morning ones. Sigh.... When will it end?? Then, Izzy is showing signs of another potential issue and we're looking to take her to the vet this evening, before puppy kindergarten (if Jaeger is up to going), and possibly, Jaeger, too, if the vet thinks it's a good idea to see both of them.
These two children certainly keep us busy, and exhausted (as if our jobs weren't enough)! Luckily, they are worth it. See the pictures of Jaeger (rather than jump off the couch and walk around to the dining area; he'll just jump over the back of the couch - silly, Jaeger!).
