The Secret of French Bread

I read that some babies LOVE to chew/teeth on french bread.  So, at one of our restaurant outings, when the boys were awake and fussing, I tried giving Jack some french bread.  He loves it!!!  It's the best way to occupy him when we are still eating.  I haven't researched the safety of giving french bread to babies, but sometimes I get tired of researching every little thing.  Anyway, I am (I mean, Jack is)  enjoying the french bread for now.  I just need to bring it with us every time we go anywhere.
